The PI1536 from Fujitsu Siemens is equipped with a Digital Video Interface (DVI) that enables it to make the most of LCD technology once connected to an external display. Once connected to your LCD TV you will be able to watch movies in wonderful high definition with little difficulty. Thanks to Brightview technology the 15”display that is fitted to the PI1536 also offers a wonderful platform on which to work or watch movies.

With the inclusion of Windows Vista software the PI1536 is easily connected to the internet and other peripherals via wireless and Bluetooth connectivity it is just a shame that there is no webcam included.

The Asus W5FE is the first notebook to take advantage of Windows Vista’s sideshow capabilities with a 7cm mini display and keypad located on the back of the main display much like on many mobile phones. This small display allows for users to have access to 1GB of memory and save documents and photos and even send e-mails without even having to switch on the min part of the notebook. This external screen and keypad takes a little while to get used to but once you get the hang of it is very straightforward and the screen offers excellent visibility.

The W5FE is not the most potently powerful of portables but at 1.6kg offers an excellent mobile business solution and some exceptional features such as the 1.3 mega pixel web cam mounted just above the display panel.
