CNET Reviewed the Asus MYPAL A730 and said "The good: Sharp, high-resolution screen; Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition OS; dual expansion slots; Bluetooth; built-in camera; user-replaceable battery. The bad: Poor battery and video performance; no Wi-Fi; pricey; heavy. The bottom line: The A730's screen and camera are nice, but its mediocre performance and lack of Wi-Fi make it hard to justify the price. "

ZDNET said "Building on the business-centric A716, Asus is back at it with the MyPal A730. The company supercharges this model with a 520MHz processor, an integrated camera, Bluetooth and a VGA screen. But because the A730 doesn't match the performance of the best handhelds we've tested, lacks integrated Wi-Fi and carries the relatively high price tag of £399.95 (inc. VAT), users will better meet their needs with products such as the Dell Axim X30 and the HP iPaq hx4700."
